Tasks and Functions
State Institution «Minsk City Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology»
operates in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 7, 2012 № 340-З "On the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population" and the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus of July 16, 2012 № 100 "On the interaction of chief state sanitary doctors.
Purpose:
Ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population of Minsk, disease prevention, improvement of the human environment and living conditions.
Main tasks and functions:
- Supervision of compliance by organizations, individuals, including individual entrepreneurs, with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus regulating issues of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population;
- implementation of measures to prevent diseases by preventing, detecting and suppressing violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation of the Republic of Belarus;
- Preparation and submission of proposals to the state administration bodies for implementation of sanitary and epidemiological legislation of the Republic of Belarus, ensuring sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population and implementation of state sanitary and hygienic expertise;
- forming a healthy way of life for the population;
- Sanitary and hygienic and microbiological research in accordance with the scope of accreditation.
